ALL ABOUT FIKA FURNITURE
Hello I'm Gemma owner of Fika Furniture.
Fika was created out of a passion for unique furniture, I developed a love of upcycling whilst trying to find exactly what I wanted for my own home and once I started I couldn't stop!
I work from a small workshop in my garden at home in Coventry, Midlands and have always been arty and creative but had never found anything I really loved doing until I started painting and transforming furniture. I take great joy in seeing beautiful pieces of old furniture, that are considered at the end of their life, completely transformed.
I select good quality, sturdy pieces of furniture that are thoroughly cleaned and prepped before using specialised paints and products. I use a sprayer to apply paints and top coats to ensure a brush-stroke free finish, that will last for years to come.
